Betsy Marie Schreiber

Paralegal

Betsy was born in Wilmington, DE and raised in Cochesett and South Yarmouth, MA.  She joined the U.S. Navy straight out of High School and served for 6 years where she started her career in the legal profession and attended Robert Morris University, Chicago Illinois.   Betsy has worked as a litigation paralegal for over 30 years and has experience in negligence, breach of contract, real estate, personal injury both plaintiff and defense, premises liability, wrongful death, professional liability, toxic tort, insurance defense, class action cases, and product liability cases. She has considerable experience in litigation throughout Illinois and Missouri, including Cook County, St. Clair County and Madison County, Illinois and City of St. Louis, County of St. Louis.

Betsy's dedication to the firm shows in her timely efforts spent working on various cases without limiting her work time to within normal work hours. Betsy’s empathy for her firm’s clients assists the firm in facilitating a relationship that allows smooth transacting between the firm clients and attorneys. Betsy believes that forming relationships based on respect and dignity results in better client outcomes and working relationships, and in life as a whole. She works zealously for each client and understands the hardships, nervousness, anxiety, and stress that they are experiencing. As such, the firm clients trust her and know she is working for their benefit.

Betsy and her husband, William, reside in Bethalto, Illinois.  Betsy has three grown children, all successful and focused in either medical, forensic sciences or cyber security professions. Outside of the office, Betsy enjoys time with her children, traveling across the great United States, walking, and playing with her two Australian Shepards, gardening, painting, volunteering her time as a Court Appointed Case Advocate, and spending time with family and friends.
